i soooo slack. this site is just a pain in the butt now, but i'm gonna keep it up, and i'm gonna keep referring ppl to it cos its easier than describing who i am.
big day out 01 is sunday! whoohooooo! i'm listening to queens of the stone age at the mo' - its such a pity that they aren't doing the gold coast show. real bummer. but there's a petition @ rockinghorse records in the city to get them to do a show in brisvegas. so if you live anywhere near brisbane go in to the city and SIGN THAT PETITION. i've gotta go in to rockinghorse any way and pick up my darren hanlon ep. they had to order it in for me and i haven't been able to go in and get it. as i said - i so slack.

been workin for da parents heaps lately too. tho i can't manage to save anything. probly cos i'm going out and spending it as the paycheque comes in. bad bad girl.

no more piercing news for you, really boring huh! tho its strange, i'm getting more and more comments about how many earrings i have now. it's like ppl didn't notice them before.

when i can actually save up i'm going to get my labret done, and my nipple redone. i know i've been saying it for yonks. moolah is a serious spanner in the works tho! so if you want to donate to the pierce chi cause - i'm taking your calls now!

ooh speaking of telecommunications related things - i won a free mobile phone and pocket pc from scape.com. cool huh?! except the phone is a bloody motorola v2288, so i can't change the ring tone or icons on it. dammit. my heart was so set on "take on me". i wanna skank when i get a phone call dudes!

very very very very tired at the mo'. i haven't updated in donkey's years cause i've discovered a new toy on the net!!! i've been going and visiting bme.freeq.com for ages, but i never realised there was an online community attached to it. so, i joined up the other day and have been hooked since. it's way more immediate than this page - ppl were messaging me before i'd even created my page!!!

i have peirced my anti-tragus finally!! woohoo. pics on above site... see what i mean? i'm obsessed. somebody stop me.
also i'm doing what i said i'd never do - stretching my lobes. not that huge mind you, but just to 3.8mm (or 8-6ga) because i was inspired by a beautiful set of glass plugs.

errrrrrrr stressed. not really functioning properly but mighty glad its FRIIIIIIIIIDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! and tomorrow is LIVID!
ahh!
for the uninitiated, livid is a music festival held in brisvegas every year. this is the first year i've actually been able to make it because i'm usually working on saturdays.
however, the good thing about working for your parents business is that you can say
"i'm not working this week!"
cause i'm going to LIVID!
I hope to take some photos, and i'll post them on here. i took a camera to the big day out but i forgot to take photos cause i was having too much fun! i will try and reduce the fun tomorrow and stop and immortalise the moment.

god i hope it doesn't rain tomorrow. the weather here has been so unpredictable.

i want to say geeeeday and how ya goin to georgie at my second prac!!! we both suffer in the storage room of the art department at sunnybank high school. but just think - only one week left!! phew. certainly deserving of a drink or two (or ten).
georgie i think you'll make a terrible teacher because you'll be too busy perving on all the grade 12 boys. tsk tsk! (kidding - perve away, just make sure they have decent side burns, because as we know - side burns are a sign of maturity!!)

i can't be bothered to update anything really. i'm too slack. but when i finish prac i'll be bored and back on here fiddling around.

and also newsflash my nose is now unpierced again. STORY OF MY LIFE! i just wasn't meant to have it pierced. a couple of weeks ago it got really festy, so i was cleaning it out. i thought i might take it out for a day - but stooopid me dropped the bloody jewellery down the sink. it was kinda upsetting but i just came to the conclusion that it was an omen. now i'm going to get my anti tragus done - my dream piercing for months and months.

oh wow - i've managed to update this site twice in a week. i must be bored.
what is my world coming to?

i spose i've finished my first prac - and that took up a fair chunk of my (unpaid) time... i'm already getting in to holiday mode even though i've got a week and two assignments to go before then. and have i started on either of these heftily weighted assignments yet?

oops. that's what the night before is there for.

i've moved the page i did ages ago on diabetes so you can access it from the left panel - please read it if only for my sake!
also i've made a page up for my friends pics - a kind of tribute cause they put up with so much crap from yours truly.

my top ten bad habits
1. whinging about the nightclubs we go too (though i have a right to... they suck arse)
2. obsessing about guys that i will never ever ask out
3. procrastinating
4. at parties i need to listen to at least one Jeff Buckley song before i will leave. if the host doesn't own jb's cds then i will bring them....!
5. swearing a lot
6. complaining
7. i spose i sometimes shit them when i talk about art stuff like they wouldn't have a clue. of course they have a clue they are extremely intelligent women!!
8. playing with my piercings when they tell me not to and then complaining for hours when i have infections
9. putting funny photos of them on my site
10. saying "i need to get money out" when my bank's ATM is miles away.

i think my quirky habits would be:
- making up poems about stupid things. eg "trolley"
- saying deeply profound things eg:
ME - "you are the glue on the envelope of life"
KIRST -"that's like, deep man"
- driving like a granny in my little buggy
- singing songs when i'm drunk ("To life! To life! L'Chaim!")
- giving all my "art" (and i use that term loosely) away to ppl.

got my nose repierced
yay for me. i thought i'd never ever get it done again after the first time, but i guess the fact that it was a shocking pierce swayed my opinion. however, this time i had been feeling like i needed another place to put jewellery - so i went back to the place i SHOULD have had my nose done the FIRST time - the piercing shop.

i have to really thank them cause they're always so caring. last time i was there i had a problem with my tragus being infected after i changed the jewellery myself. lynette (rose - piercing diva supreme) sat me down and lectured me not to touch it, not to change the jewellery unless i thoroughly steralised it etc etc etc. she's a champ. sometimes you think she's being really tough on you, but its only cause she cares about what she does.

any way they had written on my card that she had to specially check up on me the next time i came in (cause i've been in and out of there so many times in the past 2 years its not funny!). so i got my tragus jewellery changed for free - they usually charge about \\$5 if you've used up your free check up, but i think the fact that i'm a frequent piercee and one of lynette's sad cases made them give me a freebie. i'm not complaining.

anyway i had been debating to do the nose or not to do the nose all day, so i asked anna (the bouncy counter chickadee) whether i should and she said "yeh!" - and she snuck me into a cancelled appointment (like, the second after it was cancelled!) even before i definetly knew that i was going to do it.

lynette did my nose of course - i haven't seen the other piercer reese in ages - and she repositioned it lower than the other one. it kind of helped that i hadn't been drinking the night before this time! some advice - never drink before getting pierced or tattooed cause your blood is thinner and you bleed like you've never bled before. my eyes watered the same as last time, but that's because your nose is hooked up to your tear ducts and all that. nose piercing is probably the most painful pierce for me because of all the grisle and everything - also cause of the tears.

i was worried that my prac school might not like the fact that i got my nose done, but i haven't had any of the teachers say boo to me. the kids ('specially the girls) love it! i think girls love the idea of jewellery in wierd places...
