It went off. Well, maybe I should elaborate.

Mother Nature couldn't make up her mind as to what kind of weather we'd be in for on Sunday 23^rd January 2000. So my friend Kat and I packed in the sunscreen, hat, shirt (my mum made me put this in), and my zebra striped umbrella. There were millions upon millions of people who turned out to see musicians such as the Chilly Peppers, Chemical Brothers, Joe Strummer, NIN, Frenzal Rhomb (no show L ), Jebediah, Shihad, Beth Orton, Spiderbait, the Resin Dogs…

the list went on!!

Highlights and lowlights were…

• getting crushed by fifteen zillion 14 year olds when Blink performed. Hooray for Mark's dick indeed.
• the queues for the toilets, you met lots of interesting people waiting.
• 2 Dogs and the Resin Dogs. Genius. Brilliant. I was dancing for ages after they left the stage.
• The water tap. Until they fenced it off. A little mud hurt no one.
• the Chilly Peppers - a great way to wind down
